Is anyone using a black headlight shell on their 250r?

I'm wondering if anyone has a black headlight cover on their stock colored 85-86 250r. I tried to search everywhere and couldn't come up with a pic. I was trying to see what it looked look before I go spending the money and not like it.

Personally I think it looks out of place. When I got my black plastics that was the first piece I put on. Don't have any pics though.

300ex motor? Interesting. Theres a 350x with 250x motor on my local craigslist for $800, he's been trying to sell it for awhile. Its pretty rough though.

I think the black shell looks good on a black bike but I don't think I'd do a red bike with black shell.

Thats what I'm thinking also. I think I an just going to go with a number plate because the bike will never get ridden at night anyway and if it does I can always swap out the light pretty quick.
