definatly a cool 250sx, but I think it would look much better with some blue or red fork boots. The no fork boot look makes the forks look tiny. How do you like the handleing of a 200x front end? How hard was it to put on? Keep up the good work.

The handling is night and day over the 250sx front end not to mention disc brakes. I also added 5 inches to the back with spacers and that makes a difference to. It wasn't bad changing out front the only thing is i had to hacksaw off the stoppers to make it work and i ended up putting a dent in my tank last week.

very nce, but ya it does need some fork boots. Where did you get the honda wings on the tank? those are for an 85 350x right?

I like it, especially the 350X decals, 23.5" front tire, white tank and blue seat... :)

When you say "spacers" in the rear, where exactly are they?

Both are great looking SX's! I would not add any more than a just a hair of spacers in the rear suspension. I spoke to someone that put a 250R shock on his which jacked it up a few inches and it seemed to run fine. Then when he jumped it one time the driveshaft bound and snapped the final drive gear and countershaft right out of the motor - the torque had no where to go. Must have over angled the driveshaft, even as the SX is in stock form the angle down is quite extreme and already seems to rub on the inside of the drive shaft tube. Let us know how it works long term.

I put the 2.5 inch aluminum spacers on it. They fit between the hub and the wheel. You can find them on ebay once in a while. It definitely added some stability to the bike. Yours looks good too. I like that you kept the original schema. I might regret my white fenders after a few mudding trips.

[hackjack]Hey how do you like them spacers? Do you find +5 too wide at times or are you 100% satisfied? I'm looking at two types of spacers right now, both +5 total. One set is Durablue with a spacer plate setup/stud extenders and the other is simple stud extenders. Both $50; I assume the Durablue setup is going to be the better/stronger option?[/highjack]

I was affraid of the 5 inches being too much because i was so used to squeezing around some trees but once you get used to it, its no wider than any quad.

I think that it would look better if u had some blue shock boot covers and a blue or red headlight...Very nice 250sx you've got!
