So I have two 84 Tecates. Both want to eat spark plugs after a few minutes of riding. One the plug looks fouled (high oil) the other looks light tan (low oil), I've never had this problem with 250Rs I've had before.

I've tried the following:
Adjusting carb
New fuel with proper mix using Golden Spectro oil
Pegging the accelerator open majority of the time
I had the stator and CDI checked by mechanic

I'm at a loss...149316

Anything that is properly tuned will not foul plugs. I would look at your stator and flywheel again,if your ignitions good. Pressure test your engine, then go to carb,,where you will probably find the problem.

My Tecate had the same plug in it for probably better than three years. You've got something wrong. You're not using Champion plugs or something silly like that are ya?

Nope, NGK-R. BR8-ES.
What should I look for in the carb?

I don't think I've changed the spark plug in my Tecate since I've owned it. You definitely have a problem there. When I've had a bike that might not have been tuned 100% correct and went through a bunch of NGK-R plugs I went with a non-resistor and that took care of it. Try a B8ES.

I run b8es as well

They seem to enjoy a diet of flywheels and stators more than plugs.
They also have the ability to shed weight incredibly fast by vibrating themselves apart...:D

Yes,,I don't even run resistors in fuel injected sleds,,which is a no no.. They suck. Run a B8 or 9 es..

Thanks for the tip - I will be purchasing some B8ES and see if that helps!

of the 6 tecates I have had, I only fouled one plug and that was due to crank seals.
