250sx stuff

just got my first 250sx a few days ago. its running real nice but theres a few things i want to do to it to make it look better. so give me some tips here. im wondering if i buy a 200x front fender will it fit? and are there any interchangable plastics or forks or suspension etc.... if you have done anything with your 250 it'd be pretty cool to see what you did also.

A complete first gen 200x front end is a direct swap, no fab needed other then steering stops. Added disc brake, skinny tire for the handling, and it just looks much better. Then you can put a 250r front fender on it, with a 350x headlight. Win.

you can use a front rim off of a 1986 honda trx 250 (the work bike not the race one) it will let you run a smaller front tire for about half as much as what the 200x front end will cost you

149056149057149058 this is what i got for 700 bucks. what about if i just keep the original 250sx forks? would i still be able to get a different fender that will fit? any fenders i get is already enough money along with the other parts that im going to be getting so i dont want to be spending too much.

im putting the heat guard back on tomorrow, along with the skid plate i took off. then im gunna do a little shopping and buy a new set of rear fenders and a front fender (still like to know if theres any others that would fit), i dont like the red fork boots so im gunna get a different pair, dont know what color yet, new hand grips, then buy some parts to fix up all the brakes, then i need to find a tail light for it and then i think ill be satisfied. still looking for some ideas on plastic fitments and other interchangable parts.

was surfing ebay over the weekend and saw some hunter green plastic for the SX if you wanted to be different

thanks. ill check out the fenders to see if i like them. this came with a rack and headlight guard but i took those off to touch up the paint a bit but i might just keep them off until hunting season cause it lookes pretty good without them.

You were asking about mods - If you can find a supertrapp for the sx i would def reccomend it. In addition a 200x front end and replace all the bearings all around. Trust me when i say you will be glad you did. Good luck!
