Super scoops on my 1984 250R

I was looking for Maker super scoops for my 84 250R for years with no luck. I recently saw DC Plastics was reproducing them, so I ordered a set. Here are a few pics. The holes did not come pre drilled. The mounting holes are not completely centered in the dimples. I assume that's the way the Maiers were. It's really not noticeable unless you are looking for it. I know DC's Stuff is a matte finish, but the finish was much better than expected. I remember the old Maier stuff being almost a wrinkly finish. These are very smooth. Fork and pipe clearance is great. Overall I love them. Really the only criticism I have is they are a little too orangish. It's not bad I just wanted to give a full review. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about it.

Cool! I think that they are a little orangish but whatever. I was just thinking about getting something like these to make my fooler look more like an 85-86. I love how aggressive they look.

looks good to me! seems like the more air you can force into that area around the head the better!
