I saw a universal one on a 250 and it looked nice! Just make sure its 7/8" bar size on the mounting brackets, just about any of the universals will fit. Just make sure you get a quick release one if you plan on trailering it or hauling in the back of a truck, they have to be removed at highway speed or they become a nice pile of broken bits.

x2 on removal for high speed hauling.
i got a universal (i figure anyway) with my 125m when i got it, i know it's not a BR, but gives a good idea i think. it doesn't mount to the bars though, but mounts to the top of the bar clamps instead. sorry don't have any of it mounted, but can get a pic later if you want. only needed to trim out the mount for the dash cover screws and make a slot for the choke cable. :beer

I never had any problems with the Maier universal windshields.Just get one with headlight cutout.Plus they aren't to hard remove if you leave the brackets on.Never had a problem with trailering either.
