I had a set of forks here that had no leaks but were springy. I changed the seals and fluid and had no change. Compress them and they bounce back. The fluid in them smelled burnt. My service book stinks. I found something but it's possibly for 1985. I first tried 425ml of ATF, no better. Then I tried 10w 40 engine oil, no better. I've successfully built r forks but I'm stuck on this set. Anything to help would be great.
