I have been doing a little work on my 85 ytm 200 the past few days and just noticed the cases have the provisions cast in for a manual clutch arm. This tells me that the same cases were used on another machine that had a manual clutch. Does anybody know what machine this would be?? maybe an early XT? and has anyone done the conversion? Thanks for any help guys.

XT<TW,nothing would surprise me. I have a TW? I think ,,Complete engine, starter and all out of a wrecked 128 mile bike. I'm never heard of anyone ruining,,,lol,, I mean, converting to manual. I'm sure it could be done.

I had a tw for years and I know that is completly different. It looks like the 82-83 xt 200 might be what I'm after but I can't find any good detailed pics.

I have a spare ytm engine I will tear into to see but right now it's crunch time for TF
