I was wondering how many members have klts on here. I got 1981 200/ 1982 250/1985 160,110. Does anyone know how many were produced compared to what Honda produced.

I have (2) 110's (84 & 85) hoping to get one good one out of the pair someday. Here's a pic of my 86 KLT185 when I picked it up last year. Been collecting NOS parts as I can afford them and plan on doing as much of a resto on it as I can.148060

Yeah I would love to find a 185 and a 83-84 200c. It's very hard to find klts out here. And when u do they r low hours with faded to hell plastics. So with some work they run great but look like hell.

I've been on the lookout for one for a while, I saw a mint red 1987 on ebay that went for either 1400 or 2200. As far as the colors were all the 86's black and the 87's red, I've seen brochures on ebay with both colors for each year.

In excellent running order and new pistin, rings, cylinder, valve job, and new cam. What is my 110 worth?

Depends on how the fenders are. If you have a showroom condition klt id say it would be worth some money. All the klt 110,160,200,250's I've seen for sale out here sell for under 500. Even the 84-85 tecates sell for that but most of the time the plastics and seats are shot. And they need work to get them running.

Plastics are painted over black, I know cardinal sin....... The rear is actually red and the front is a newer vented style and is black. But they are both in perfect condition not a crack anywhere.

Fabio - I Started working on refurbishing an 84 KLT110 rear fender back in the beginning of the year. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/139206-Paint-removal-from-plastic-fender-Help-Please! It's half done because to be honest I lost desire to sit there and sand and sand and sand and sand (you get the point). It was starting to look nice but man alot of work. i believe if there is a next one I would need done I'd send it to MR Clean. If you go with old saying time is money I've got alot invested with just satisfactory results. Having proper tools/equipment and the knowledge to use them (I have neither, all trial and error based on member feedback) Could considerably make a difference in the outcome I'm sure.

007 - Feeling a little puffy chested that I actually have one you don't! Didn't think that was possible. LOL:p

Very good Mr Sound. I've never actually done it myself, but I've seen the results a lot on here. I'm sure the key is time and experience, like you said. I'd probably hit it with the DA and keep my fingers crossed. Lol

what is the bolt pattern on our KLT's ?

It say's 4/4 is the 4 holes on 4 inch centers???

tmhcycle

I believe so all the klt's and 84 tecate3 only have the same bolt pattern. Offsets are different between them though. Does that help?, if not ill dig out a manual and check for you. So there aren't many klt owners out there, being that only a few responded here.

I have an 85 KLT 160A. Did lots of work to get it running and I ride it all the time now. Still needs the plastics to be finished.
My dad has an 83 KLT 200. It was in mint condition. Runs decent, needs some carb work. My brother wrecked it so now we are looking for body and headlight.
