thank you. I bought it for 500 and then put another 500 in it. But I should have it for the next 26 years.

Looks good Daniel. Can you tell if there is room to bolt the stock fender trim on those maiers? I am thinking about ordering a set for mine. BTW I got your letter today, will have the wife ship it out on Friday.

i really don't know for sure, but i don't think you can mount the trim on there. it's all molded into one piece, atleast that's what i'm thinking. my buddy wanted to get some new maier plastics for his 85BR but didn't because the flaps and trim is molded into the maier fenders. just look at Daniels pics. :beer

BY the way I like the red seat cover. Gives it character.

I don't know about bolting stock trim on to rear maier fenders. I would guess no. I wasn't sure about a red seat cover but I got it that way. What I do want is some ideas to protect the rear fenders from breaking if flipped backwards. Can I attach something to the back rack or a wheelie bar? I do flip it over but it didn't matter with the already broken stock fenders.

How bout you just don't flip it and you will be fine. I rolled mine last year and I wasn't even riding the dang thing. We were sitting on a hill trying to figure which way to go up it the rest of the way. dang thing just slowly rolled:lol: I'm pretty embarrassed about that one. It cost me the left side fender.
