air box delete

i m going to run my first gen 200x with out the air box. any suggestions on what filter will fit on a 28mm mic roundslide

K&N with outerwears, uni pod, any others you can think of. I hope you dont plan on riding in heavy mud or water

I had a k&n R-1100 on my 84 with a xr carb. The filter was a lil small but did the job and didnt rub the shock.

do you need to run an outerwears with a uni or just k&n

you can run it on uni for extra protection but K&N is a must or eles the fine dust will enter your motor

I don't really like K+N after seeing how much dust they let through, Uni is the way to go!
