Yes! lol

We like to use a nobby tyre as theyre more predictable when sliding. I had a set on my TRX 450R before it was stolen and i swore by them, they were Kenda Trakkers and they worked great on the quad. Ive got dune sliders on my blue trike but didnt like them much as when the trike slid passed about a 60 degree angle it would just whip right out front under you.

You'll see what i mean at 1:44, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRcm_k8qj6Y&list=FLgDxGu_ooDdSVYI66YjnAZg&index=74&feature=plpp_video thats me. lol Its happened a few times.
Im thinking about giving a straight paddle a go though.

If your likin the slidin, your gonna hate the straight blades! I really like the Sand Skate II, gets ya more traction but still whips easily, more so than the Skat Trak Edge for sure.
