I have a 250r that has a pro design cool head and has been bored to a 276. I blew the head gasket and have no clue where to get a new one. Does pro design make one? Does my bore affect if I can use a stock gasket? And how can I tell what dome is in the head now?

I had an older cool head that used a flat metal oem style gasket. Does your head have grooves cut in it for o-rings or is it flat like a stock head?

Its flat no grooves. Honda place couldn't help. Pro design website isn't working and they don't answer the phone.

If ya can't find a replacement. Call Cometic. Tell them your bore size and thay'll make ya one in no time. Just be sure both surfaces are flat, run a thread chaser on your studs, and use oil on the threads before you turque things down. Interference between nut/stud thread doesn't allow for proper clamping. If your at 2mm over, a oem gasket should not impede into bore area.

The gasket I took off it is 69mm and stock cylinder bore is 66.02-66.04. That means I need a gasket that is 3mm larger on the bore right.
