atc185s/200s saved from the scrapyard

my brother told me that he found a 3 wheeler at a scrapyard the other day and that he wanted me to see if i could fix it. he actually had 2. a 83 200s with no motor and a 83 185s with a motor but a trashed frame.

i swapped motors and all wiring to the 200s frame. cleaned the carb and got new oil. while swapping the spark plug i found that the plug wire was pretty much torn in half so a got a coil and wire coming from ebay for $20 shipped.

tires are shot, framed is rusted, front wheel is locked up and the gas tank is rusted but if we can get it to run he's gonna fix all of that. he paid $15 for both atc's so if itll run i think itll be a good investment :cool:

anything special that i need to know about these machines?

we do have the rear fender but will need a complete seat soon.

Thanks jedi. Does anybody know how much compression these motors should have?

edit: after doing some searching i found that the compression should be between 142-170 psi. im going to check it today before we spend too much money on it.
