Can't seem to find the orig post.
Recap:
Less than 10 hrs on orig sx.
Little ol' lady rode it to the mailbox on sundays.
I changed the oil and filter 2x in the hour of runtime I've had it.
Looked real clean but thought about some sort of engine flush but this thing looks new.
Adjusted the valves and thinking about pulling the cam chain tensioner.
It sounds perfect for a few minutes and then a distinct valve click type chatter that goes away after a few seconds.
but might also be a bit of chain growl that appears and goes away too.
Not real obvious but certainly not comforting.
Starts and runs perfectly and does sound like a new engine for sure other than the
intermittent noise.
How do we check oil pressure?
Pull the spark plug and spin it with the starter?
Loosen the oil line to the head?
1/2 cup in 30 seconds or so?
ANY suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
