would an 83 big red axle fit on a 82

hey everyone. had some problems with my 82 200e this weekend. the sprocket bolts fell out once before ( the day after we bought it) and now 1 snapped agian. so i got some high strength bolts and locking nuts but the holes on the sprocket plates are soo rounded out i cannot get the sprocket in the middle. what i mean by that is, if you install the sprocket and axle and turn the axle the sprocket clearence to the chain gaurd changes since its not in the middle. which causes the chain to tighten REALLY tight and loosen. i also found out on the same side the axle is bent. not too bad but its easily noticable when you turn the axle and look at the end. soo im just wondering if a 83 200e axle and sprocket assy will fit on a 82 200e just incase i cannot find one.

i believe it would but im not 100 % positive as i got rid of my atc 200 fleet...

as long as theya re both 200E bikes, your fine. the 200ES stuff does not fit. the 200s rear axle i beleive shoudl fit, but if i reclal the ends are slightly thinner as the bigred was a work horse and the s was more sporty so weight savings. just double check the measurements.
