Picked up a 86 350x

Well I added this to my collection few days ago, 86, guy just rebuilt it not to long before setting it up, 12:1 compression piston, other than that stock, he says, the side cases have been powder coated, really nice custom built swing arm he says he built but I'm not sure. Frame is fresh powder coat, it's all really, cranks first kick, rear fender little faded, rest of the plastics in great shape, 700 bucks sounds like a good deal? Everything works on it. Haven't even cleaned it yet been sitting and hasn't been ran in 5 years lol

:w00t::)good score ,:eek: lube that chain !!! ,the swing arm is interesting is it longer then stock or ???:wondering any 350x for less then a grand that runs and is complete is not a bad deal :idea:.. did you get reciepts for said rebuild ??:wondering Ive heard that rebuild line a million times, hard to verify , and prove ,,:rolleyes: still its a excellent start for a nice rider ,, ENJOY:beer:beer:w00t:

Thank you, and yes the swing arm is longer than the stock 4 inches over I think he said. I can see the new gaskets so it could be the truth, althought timing chain might sound a little noisy not bad, but then again it has stock exhaust and I'm used to not hearing anything on my other machines but loud exhaust. Runs extremely well, and no on the receipts. The guy had 2 and was selling them as a package deal, both rebuilt at the same time, one with a web cam the other a Wisconsin piston, me and my buddy went on Halfs I got one and he got the other one lol

Nice score!!!! Not only for the price, but the fact that you and your buddy split the combo and both got one is sweet!!! They are getting harder and harder to find no matter what shape they are in. Congrats!!!:beer

The noise you hear,is it when you lug it?If so you need higher octane fuel due to the 12 to 1 piston.
