Man o man have I had a great 3Wheeler day! First I find a new in the box PT Racing CR500 engine, got good news on the 250R Race fender repos and I got my old racer going! First off I will tell you guys that are having problems with your R, build a leak down tester and fix the leaks!!! Holly castor smoke, what a difference! This thing is ripping now!
OK... on to the game. So I have this old hand made pipe, I'm pretty sure I know who made it but I wanted to see what the PROS say. I did a lot of work stripping, bead blasting, wire wheeling and sanding this old pipe. When I got it like I wanted I sprayed it with VHT Flame Proof Clear Ceramic. I repacked the silencer too but you can't see it yet....
And a shot of Xowner's 10" front wheel with a BLACK wall AMBUSH!!!

Humm, very interesting. I've never seen one of those. This is not a new pipe, it's a restored vintage.

Nobody has a clue who made this pipe? I thought ya'll could ID a mouse turd in a mudhole!
The construction looks like the Bill's pipe on my Tri-Z. But there's just no way to know, for me anyway. My Tri-Z pipe has a tag on it that says Bill's so that made it easy to identify! I need to post up pics of my running 250R's pipe. It has an answer silencer, but the pipe I'm not sure of. It's definitely aftermarket and painted black.

Good guess Jeb! I think it is a Bill's but I've never seen a hand built on, just seen his manufactured pipes.
Sent you a PM ringdingrider... Thanks on the pipe, I put a LOT of work into it and I'm very pleased. I don't have an enginge for sale, just located one I'm tring to get...
Here's my pipe on my 250R. I have no idea what brand it is. Maybe someone will know? The silencer is an Answer SA Pro. Also, here's a pic of my Bill's Tri-Z Pipe for comparison. Wish my R pipe looked as great as yours does xman2rman. That looks nice.

Thanks Jeb! Looking at your Bill's, I'd say that confirms what mine is, I've just never seen an early, hand built one before. I'm not sure what make your R pipe is but it can look like mine with a lot of elbow grease! I used gel paint stripper then a drill mounted wire wheel and bead blasted the rusty parts. I hope the VHT Clear will keep it looking good for a while.
