Today I picked up 2 250r motors and 2 350x motors that were cut off the frame at the honda factory and sold to a tech school. These motors were never ran since leaving the Honda factory, never sold to public, cut clutch cables, cut wiring harness, cut headers on the 350x. They still have the vin stickers on the side of the engines!!! I'm very excited to own these pieces of history. They were picked up in 89' and sat in a concreted storage room until I came along.

Nice, never seen a NOS 250sx engine, I'm not sure on what I'm going to do, one went on my 250r, so technically I have 3 r motors, but the one on my bike I got several years ago and I had to repair the case I dropped it. I think I'm going to shine them up at look at them like trophys for awhile ;) might decide to do a NOS build one day

Nice score! There are many many undiscovered parts out there and it would be nice if someone found a trailor load of Kt576 tires and NOS plastic! There was already a tractor trailer load of NOS forks for the 250r 350x 200x found. There has got be a motherload or 2 out there somewhere I would think or I might just be dreaming. ... Post some pics after you clean those engines up!

Can we ask how much you paid for the 4? If you don't want to tell I understand..just some guys like to sing to the hills when they get a steal.
I do, I paid $300 for the NOS 250SX engine when I found it in a machine shop in Michigan!!

I bet there is some nice surprises out there, but sadly some may never discovered, happens all the time, might be in storage and be abound and and scrapped and thrown away, my uncle scrapped a mint tri z that was in his storage one time, I about killed him when I heard the story. I will get some pics up for sure

Nice, check the Engine VIN numbers, if they were cut from the frame because of the Ban or whatever they MIGHT be from the legendary 1987 250R and 350X!

I was gonna say the same thing.
The 250r is definitely a '85 and the 350x looks like an '86 due to the clutch cable routing. Nice score's, these are getting harder to find, but makes me wonder how many are still out there.

If they are from louisiana I'd have a hard time beliving they are NOS. All the rednecks down here tear all the good crap up :)
