well im jst back in from the shed after working on my 83 200x,i bought it as a none runner.so checked the timing ,cleaned the carb and cleaned the plug.didnt have a spark to start with but a diff cdi unit fixed that.kicked it over a few times and found the kick start slips,now my brain fart is ive been told the engine out a xl or xr200 is the same????if so i know the the kick start goes the opposite way,but is it possible to put the 200x casing on so that itl kick the rite way or not.jst asking if any one has tried or knows if itlwork:wondering
