OK I have been at this for hours and I have tried everything!

I bought the all balls kit. The top bearing set just does not look it it fits!

Here are some pics:
Bottom raceway installed.

Base of the stem with washer and bearings installed.

HERE IS WHERE I THINK THE ISSUE IS:
Top raceway and bearing on top of frame.

Pic with stem inserted.

I can not get the top thread nut on. If I remove the washer from the bottom of the stem the lower triple tree scrapes on the stop guide on the frame.

I dont know what to do??????

the race fits but the bearings definitely are not right. the bearing should fit almost all the way into the race

the race is supposed to be that high from the frame metal??

I will take more picture tomorrow. Maybe that will help.

They all come with terrible instructions; because they fit many modes.

your gonna have to wedge it out or a try a dremel; Good luck!

One race and bearing is slightly taller. Chances are you mixed them up. The taller one goes on the bottom.

I had a similar issue with my front end conversion. I also have All Balls. The top one is fully seated but sticks up a bit. I will add a link to my thread with pics when I'm on the computer next.

Edit: Posts 27 to 29 show my issues and what I did to deal with it. Obviously mine wasn't that far out.
