I need a definitive answer on this. water cooled (85/86) R motors; What is the thread size on the flywheel nut / shaft?

I need a new nut and would like to chase my threads on the end of the crank. I assume I can just buy a nut that is the same threads, but I want to be 100% certain I am getting the size correct as I will most likely be purchasing a thread chaser as well.

You're going to need to know the thread pitch as well. Let me check my old crank & I'll get back with you.

Alright, the flanged nut is 12mm x 1.25mm thread pitch.
