I use a flat head screw driver to pry it in place and two or three pairs of vice grips to keep it from poppin out of the grove while I work it in. And i would strongly recommemd wearing some kind of gloves cause the flathead slipped on me and I ripped open my hand.

Dont quote me on this but I think it is a coating they put on them to keep from oxidizing. I bought a new pair for my 185s and had to run sandpaper through the pin holes to get rid of the build up of that red stuff because they wouldnt fit without doing it. Your welcome Mike just tryin to help.

so your redoing the centerfugal clutch. there is a more normal style on the other side so don't forget that one either. ;)

Actually it's on the same side. The plate type clutch is driven by the cent. clutch.
