86' 250r axle nut?

I'm tearing down my 86' 250r for a rebuild and the big axle nut won't move!! just wanna check is it right hand or left hand thread before i break something!!!! :lol:

clockwise to loosend and counter clockwise to tighten,,,,,as long as it was not put on backwards(seen that before too!!!) good luck!!

They like to rust. With the fine threads they like to strip. Ive had to take a grinder to it on the most outer side, to allow the lock ring to be removed. Then replace with a anti fade nut. Or if you're careful enough, and don't wreak the lock ring collar... you can put a washer/spacer to take up the grinder space.
