picked up some t-3's

picked up some tecates today. one is in decent shape it needs some some tlc to be nice it looks nicer than it is. parts bike has a good motor though. any idea what kinda pipe is on the green one?

will prob use what parts i can to make one nice bike. then part out the rest here. whats the differences between an 84 and 85? is there a thread somewhere that shows this? also what uni filter could i use. i wanna delete airbox?
