It would be a 200m, the 200e had a high and low gearbox. And the 200es had shaft drive.

Thank you kind sir I just got 5 of these free so if anyone needs anything I will trade for 1983 110 parts for them but I am keeping one to dissect one of them! :)

it's a 200m. the m had electric start, no reverse, chain drive, and no hi/low gearing. the S had a pull start and nothing else.

i thought about the flat head idea but the screw sits almost flush and I don't want to cut into the case. But I will try the dermal idea.

There is a tool (Don't know what it's officially called) but it has different screw driver heads and you hit it with a hammer and it helps break the screw over.
Had to use it on the cdi cover screws when doing the top end one time, was rusted and ceased up.

go get a new one. if you buy a craftsman instead of the autpzone crappos it will last and not break on you. the cheapo ones break.

I got it out.

anyway I am to a point where I am stumped I have the manual right here in front of me and did a forum search. I cant for the life of me get this crank shaft apart???

am I missing something? Do I need a special puller to get this off? is it threaded on?

that my friend is a flywheel. all flywheels are held on a woodruff key which needs to be pulled off with a puller like all flywheels.
146650 Right here in the manual.

thats why the puller is about 4 inches long.

I know But the only pullers I can find the shafts are to big to fit inside there. I thought the flywheel was right underneath the pullstarter I have the bolt puller set for that one...

if you have a inch or more clearince between the flywheel and the cases you can use that type. they use the regular screw type puller in the manuals

I dont have anything to screw into... like I said before the other one comes off but it had screw holes for my puller to screw into...

right tool for the job. if your threads inside are srtipped or missing then, you have to use a standard gear puller and it's a pita!!!!

You need a special puller. Part of the puller threads into the flywheel. The forcing screw pushes against the crank. Go look at some on ebay, u will see what Im talking about. Ive got to get one for my warrior too. Good luck.

I just bought a 14mm x 1.5 thread pitch bolt and popped the flywheel right off. If you have an impact it takes seconds, i used a wrench on the bolt threaded into the center of the flywheel and just tapped the wrench a few times with a hammer to shock it and the flywheel popped right off. The special puller is nothing but a bolt with a t-handle on it.
