What's a good way to get rust off THE foam part of the seat?

What would be the best way to get the rust from the metal seat pan?

2 options. Don't worry about it or new seat foam. Who is going to see it?

wire brush then light coat of paint!!

Get new foam.


Or throw it in the washing machine...on gentle cycle....and hope for the best.....

just spray Mean Green or the like. scrub with a soft to med brush. rinse and repeat if needed. let dry for a day or two. :beer
