I'm getting ready to send my Paul Turner pipe out for plating. I'm torn between chrome or copper. kind of think copper would look cool but not sure if it'd be too in yer face or gaudy. I've never seen a copper pipe on a trike and I'm having a hard time picturing it.
what do y'all think???

Do copper! No one ever does that. I wonder what the difference would be compared to nickel platin or chromIng in terms or heat dissipation and performance etc. Copper sounds cool though!

Copper is the first step to Chroming, Nickel is the second step, and Chrome is the final step to a good chrome job. It would be cool if you could keep the copper polished, but if you don't it will look like Lady Liberty, green.

Like he said^^^ copper all the way if you can keep it clean. I think that would look pissa.

My bet is that it would look awesome until you fire it up. Better stock up on Never-Dull if you go that route.

ok it;'s not copper. that was SS that they would put thin oil on arag and whipe the exhaust pipe with it while runnign the bime to break it and the pipe in and it woudl stain the SS pipe a nice bronze color. we do it all the itm with car exhaust tips and headers.
