Is that you in the pics Eric? Those Kodaks look great once opened!

Yeah, that's me... I grew up in Virginia (Loudoun County), when it was much more rural.
Got the new Tri-Moto 175 in January 1982 and this pic was in September, according to the date on the back of the Kodak.
I'm actually trying to track that exact bike down - I've come close, but no cigar as of yet.
This was my first 3-wheeler, so I have a soft spot for the Tri-Moto 175's.
Sorry for the poor attachment.

sofranke, I know someone who is selling a yt175 with a Pro Tec rear suspension kit on it if you're interested. He's near Baltimore MD too.

I have raced a Yamaha 175 and a 200 with that rear end set up, Would be cool to have one of those again.

sofranke, where did you grow up? I lived in Manassas until I went into 6th grade and then moved out near Nokesville. Graduated in 1980 and went into the Navy for several years.

Vealmonkey, I actually grew up outside of Leesburg, in the northwestern portion of Loudoun. It was a great place to grow up and ride bikes. I was 12 years old when that pic was taken in Sept of 1982.
I'm headed down the Manassas/Arcola/Fairfax way on Saturday.
El Camexican, believe it or not, it was just a gulley or small ravine on our property near our garden. It was perfectly angled with a nice slope.
Hogmuffin, you noticed! I had no helmet on in the photos, unfortunately. A hat, but no helmet. I actually used to wear a full-faced Bell helmet, more of streetbike helmet. I once went over the handlebars and when I came down (on my head) the lower portion, chin area of that helmet actually broke my collar bone!
