The 1985 Trifecta is complete!

After spending many an hour in searching and restoring, I'm finally on my way to my goal. I picked up an '85 250R yesterday, rounding out my collection of the '85 sport trikes, including my 200X and 350X. The 200X is close to being fully restored. The other two will keep me busy this summer! Gonna be hitting some of you guys up for advice on the R for sure, as I'm not nearly as familiar with 2 strokes. This thing's a beast...

That's what I said when I saw the ads for it last year! it cost more than I like to pay for these things and it had a couple of minor issues but it was close (2 hours) and soooo nice and complete. I had to sort out a stator problem and address some exposure/surface rust issues. The plastics are Maier but it came tiwh the sun-beaten OEMs. I wish I lived closer to dunes to get more than 2-3 good rides in a a year. IT IS AWESOME! If I ride the little X after it, I can't believe how slow the 200X feels

I love the polished pieces on QDudes R! Very nice. Maybe I should track down a 2nd R after I get my 86X together.
