200x Experts,
I was wondering if the rubber bushings within the sprocket damper can be pressed out (the five that help hold the rear drive sprocket on)? I want to get the part powder coated and I am thinking I will need to press those out or they will melt when I bake the piece for powder curing.

Thanks in advance!

Yup, press them out. You can use sockets, tubing, and "all thread" rod.

Does anyone know where to get the bushing new. Honda never sold this separate and the damper is not available?

If Honda doesn't make then, talk to Billy or Jeswinehart, they both formed together to make 250R rubber bushing parts for the exhaust that looked excellent.

All I can say is that there are numerous guys on this forum which, came out with products they could make.

Time and demand get people going.

I feel like we have made incredibility strides in production by allot of amatures recently and that will keep trikes alive till we die

i dont really see the need for a crush drive on the 200x, new bikes dont have them. Id do with somthing to run different sprockets if you could. if not posibly delron bushing could be made at any machine shop if you give them your sprocket hub. the hub its self wiggles and jiggles on the axle. its not a tight press fit like i feel it should be.

why not get an aftermarket sprocket? they don't use the rubber stuff and bolt right on.
