Few questions about the brakes on my 200x as I've never really had any experience with brakes on any previous machines. So first of all am I better off rebuilding my rear master cylinder or is there one off another machine that would be a good replacement. Also with the rear brake line, I know you can go to an auto parts place and have one made, but if someone could give me more info on how to go about that, that would be great. Or if there is somewhere to order a premade brake line that would work too.

You can rebuild or take apart and clean the rear master cylinder. Just take your time and replace anything that is wore out.
Rear brake lines: How about a good used one? I know I have a couple lines and would be willing to sell one.

The thing about the 200X rear master (and 350X and 250R, etc) is they have a 5/8" bore. Most common dirt bike master cylinders are 1/2". I have a 1/2" on my white 84. I do not like the braking power at all.
Also, the mounting holes on the stock master are not parallel with the cylinder. Most common MC rear master cylinders have parallel holes. This causes some geometry issues with the pedal. It can be overcome with a custom mount or other fiddling.
If and when I do it over, I will use a stock master - either new of Ebay or rebuils a used one off eBay. Mine was frozen solid so no hope.
