Question for setting valves

I have an 85 honda 250sx. First time ive ever been in an engine. I am mechanically inclined, but just never had the chance to tear into an engine. After boring, high comp piston and reseating valves, i am at the point where i want to fire it up. I am afraid, however, that my valves are not adjusted properly. Can someone shed light on the procedure to adjust valves properly.

And yes, i have searched.

Its for an 86, don't know if its the same setting as the 85, but it will likely get you in the ballpark
