on the bottom end of the 225's, where the shaft comes out of the motor, are you suppos to put oil in ther or are there ports for it to flow through, i did not see any but anyting is possible, thanks

The out put shaft on the engine is naturally lubricated with engine oil and it SEALED, the drive shaft linkage could use greese, make sure to check your rubber boot that seals the shaft itself.
The rear axle uses 80w-90 hipoid gear oil only.

Oil in that space it bad..usually means that the rear seal of the transmission is gone and you are loosing oil into the driveline.

I got one of those very situations right now..really bad too! Enough oil flowed down the tube and forced it's way into the differential that the diff was overfull!!
