Yeah a bit out of range to make me grab my wallet, even though the condition is good.
Now if it was a 250SX or 250ES in that kinda shape!!!
I'd say the seller is making out pretty well if you are willing to trade your quad for it..you must really want that thing!

I would like to have a nice 125M but even with me wanting one and them being rare in my neck of the woods, that one seems over priced. I would estimate that you'll end up with at least 50% too much in the 125M if you trade even. From the prices I've seen on the Kawasaki's I'd say $1200 is on the low end of what it could bring and $800 is on the upper end of what the 125M would bring. With all that said, if you really want the 125M and you really hate the quad.....sounds like a great trade (money isn't everything). Good luck!

Not worth it... be patient and look for an '86-'87 125m, you'll be glad you did.

If you think it's worth it, get it. It's only worth what someone will pay.

For me, a $1000 trike should have full suspension.
That 125M better be mint for $1000. And when I say mint, I mean mint. Pristine seat, paint, all plastic, etc. No wear, no rust, no dirt. Anywhere.
On the other hand, you know what it takes to make a nice trike based on your 110 build. They nickle and dime you to death. Chain and sprockets? $100. Bearings? $100 Seat cover $50. Brake shoes? $40. Plastics? $200. Tires? $200. Cables, air filter, oil, special tools...
If this 125M needs nothing, it could be a fair deal. Still a little much for my cheap gene...

Night and day... ask anyone who has a 2nd gen! They're like a mini 250sx.

I wouldn't pay a grand for a 125m, and i live in Canada. Maybe in 10 years....

Nice little trike. But sure would not trade a quad like that for it.

the 86-87 125m's being like a mini 250sx or Big Red? i wouldn't really go that far IMO. yes they are nicer than the 84-85's in just about everyway, but have fun finding parts for one. i've read about many people on here say that the 86-87 125m's are about one of the rarest ATC's to find things for and when you do it's usually a pretty penny for those parts.
that 125m is nice, but i wouldn't pay $1000, maybe more like $500-700 depending on how it looks, runs and rides when i went to look at it. a picture might be worth a 1000 words, but hardly tells the whole story. go check it out and give it a good once over atleast. :beer
