Hello,
My first time ever having an issue with a rebuild.
The 84 atc 200, i went with a wiseco 12:1 high compression piston and had 5 angle valve job new stainless, new valve seals, timng chain, sliders etc.
Very frusterated since its starts first pull albeit you have to get it to t.d.c. And really pull with new high comp piston. Carb needle on bottom clip and screw out 1.5 turns no choke,i live in florida so sea level.
It runs stronger and pulls harder than the centrifugal stock clutch can handle, wheelies just by blipping it.

Probem is white smoke like rings are shot,or valve seals but they Are new.
Oil dipstick open has no smoke or fuel blow by,it has great compression.
I can do leakdown dont have guages anymore nor compressor.
Was wondering if anyone had dowel issue on head gasket where oil seeped in on afresh build and had white smoke at idle, accelleration under load as well as decelleration,so it smokes all the time..except

If i put clip on top of needle and close carb screw to seated position it wont smoke at idle.
No fuel rainbowing i. Oil when i drained.
Im stumped and ive done so many of these im assuming someone has had to have had similiar problem and can give me insight before i pull topend again.

Thanksin advance
