86 Honda 250sx

I just picked up another 250sx, now I have three (Kind of). This one runs pretty well but probably could use a carb. overhaul. 1st & 2nd gear seem to jump a little but other than that it's great. The gas tank is super clean inside. The foot pegs are something I had never seen before but they work great. Did some 250sx's come with a trunk and others not?

I'm not an expert on these bikes but I think no trunk means Maier fenders. Looks nice!

Yes those are maier fenders! from the factory the 250sx all came with trunks..

Kinda cool... aftermarket front rim with a skinny tire... looks like a solid wheeler.

I think I'm going to put an original size tire on it. If I was to swap the front with the 200x that would be one thing, but just to have the skinny tire...I think it looks strange.

It does look a little strange with the brake drum on it instead of the 200x setup but If you were to mount a 200x fender on it I think it would look a lot better since they're narrower too. Pretty sure the mounting bolt holes are spaced the same on those so it would be an easy swap...

No keep it..one of the best improvements to handling and turning made to the SX. I did the same thing on mine, swapped the stock 8" rim with a 10" then found a thinner Bear Claw tire to match.

Great on the heavily rutted ATV trails...

Alot cheaper than a 200x front end swap. But same handling improvements!!
