My brother has a ytm200ER and the forward reverse lever won't function. the bike slips out of gear when we try to push start it. He said it was taken apart when they disassembled the engine for a top end rebuild and it worked fine before then so they put something back together wrong. I have never worked on a shaft driven or reverse equipped bike and the manual I have has almost no documentation on these areas.
