I just can't ever seem to catch my breath and get Started on my collection,,too mention caught up. It is really starting to pile up.. At any rate,,I know some of you would enjoy me sharing,so here goes. They were just unloaded,it was dusk. But here is what ended up back in PA ! The # plate is still down At Mickeys,he's mailing it to me. My son wants to tear right in and restore the 19. Not happening! They are only original once. Granted this particular machine{ the 19 } has been stripped, cut in half, welded back together, raced[ Kicked ass ;):beer } Rebuilt and done over and over.. But it really is absolutely MINT considering that! It will stay in it's current configuration. As it came off the trailer last race out. I will get new plastic and a repo the seat, but obviously keep these originals! The Prototype on the other hand will most likely be tore down and freshened up. The engine has great compression. Dickson swingarm,Finishline axle,,etc.. Mickey's helmet was a very classy added surprise! I also have boxes of treasure to sort thru from Pete,,The owner/ former owner of Powroll. Titles, paperwork, race results, inside charts, dyno sheets,, megaphones,,the : cheater " pipe for the MT series ;)..just piles of treasure!!! I hope to find time to slowly chip away at the time all of my stuff deserves someday,,but I just can't see it happening anytime within sight. For all of you that eat this stuff up like I do,,ENJOY !

Hopefully someday Thorpe! When I came on here,, I HONESTLY thought I was the Only one in the world with this illness,,,,no,,,Obsession. I slowly started to realize there are a LOT of us! Then ,I didn't want to show off,,And I have realized,,that MOST here are just great Humble people with the Love of 3. Just like me. And I have no problem sharing. When I can,,and it certainly is not often enough! I am just a hard working schmuck like anyone else ,,who just happens to have invested into the one thing that saved the entire Motorcycle industry as we know it today.

Cool stuff there, for sure Bill. I never watched racing back in the day, but now I love seeing the old vids... we should have a "vintage race section" where we can upload 80's races... would love to see that old warhorse in action.

Thanks for sharing, more pics please!
Of course we would all like to see your collection as your signature has us wanting.
Anyhoo, I'd have the 250RX running and beating the snot out of it; maybe tuck the fenders aside but the rest is seemingly available....... So I myself would run her. You, on the other hand, seem like you have your hands deep in many things including your farm so I understand. I wanna see it rip, but I do understand.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you ride too much anymore.....
Fantastic find and thank you for sharing! :beer

Everywhere we look is some cool stuff. But one of the cool things was the tank! It's dry and has been for years. I opened her up,,POOF ! Race gas!!!! I looked at my son,,Wow! ALL this tank EVER saw ,,was Race gas ! So sweet smelling,,pulled the dipstick. Fresh new oil in there from Powroll,,,wreaked ! of race fuel ! . This bike and Curtis Sparks were the two to beat. Mac Moore did very well against them when he ran them. They got so fast Honda brought the 200R 2 stroke. I didn't like it,,but that's the way it was!

Just more cool stuff for me not to see since you are in some magical place in the middle of nowhere! LOL I would like to come by sometime when I can actually find you! LOL You really need to draw me a map since phone service and gps are things that don't always work where you seem to live. I have to make sure and fill up the truck as fuel service doesn't seem to be on every corner there either. LOL Congrats on the new machines. Still haven't seen Nicholson pics either. HINT LOL

DC,I ride daily,,2-4 times at least. Race or trail ride? Not daily! Trouble is what I'm usually riding has too many wheels. I WILL ride them both !! Been 20 years since I bought race fuel : ),or : ( ? . Farming was easy,11 in my home now, 6 with special needs. That's what I'm doing. Mickey said this RX ran with an R,," easily" if I remember right. It is no run of the mill XR engine ;). Total custom frame ,,etc,, While I respect you Very much.. I won't be out Running the snot out of this machine !!!!!! This machine was commissioned by Factory Honda to go and run WITH the 2 strokes,,FIFTEEN years before it was even Conceivable that ANY 4 cycle could possibly compete with a 2 cycle! Fast forward today. No 2 strokes left. THIS bike was to be THE game changer butfor the demise of 3 wheeler racing

I almost bought a 4.5 acre lot near Earls place last year. It just didnt financely work out. My wife does a ride up there every year the week of July 4th. I have a 5 day weekend this year over that week. Maybe I will come up with her and bring my Big Red and you could show me some of the local area.

Wow. I cannot possibly IMAGINE what the price of land is here!! Unless they were retaining the mineral rights? Sounds like we may meet ! The riding here consists of what you see, dirt roads and VERY private property! Earls a great guy.
So cool Bill. Man how I wish we lived closer. I was getting ready to ask if you ever got these things home, but figured you had about a thousand irons in the fire.

Thanx Bryan,,Mickey was gracious enough to store them at his place all thru the holidays till last week. A customer of mine had called and asked if I had some 3 wheelers that needed hauled,,I said??? Yes ! Which ones? He said his buddy had a engine down at 4 Stroke Tech, and Mickey said he had 2 3 wheelers that needed hauled this direction. My customer instantly said Bill ! Mickey said yep! So I got them the rest of the way home for $60. He wanted less, as he is 9 miles from me,but I thought it was worth more! Hopefully this spring I can give the 19 a rip and clean her up the way she deserves! I haven't looked it over yet. But it needs throttle, cable, clutch cable,CDI,coil, chain and fr sprocket,a washer under the needle jet in the carb, and I'm sure more! I have everything laying around I'm sure. I'll put a thumb on it for my voyage! Then a twist to make it correct when we're done.
Lots of history there. I love the short track tank mods on the 19 bike. I have a NOS tank for my 200x build, but I also have a nice stocker that I might try and modify in a similar fashion. Worse case scenario, I don't have the fab skill's then I'm stuck with using the NOS tank.

It took Pete 2-3 solid work days on that tank. He hated it !! I think he said the only thing he hated worse was building that expanding exhaust!! It is Ridiculous to sit on this at full slide!! Handlebar right straight in your belly button while not leaning. My shorttrack R's with the HRC kits aren't even CLOSE to this ! They were just having WAY too much fun back then!!
