to put new rear bearings in a tri-z do they have to be pressed in?

they dont it will be a tight fit but you can get them in your self try taking a flat piece of would and puting it up against the barring wile it is ready to go in and tap on it with a hammer. worked when i redid a 200x. just be carful the barring goes in straight

the swinger bearings you can do yourself...just be careful. You should try using a sock and hammer. The right size socket (one that fits just around the edge of the bearing and bushing housing and a hammer will work great. Be really careful to get the bushing in straight...it should move freely.
As far as the rear end bearings..I had those removed and replaced by a shop. It was too much for me.
