Look what followed me home Monday. Well actually I drove all the way to Kentucky from SW Missouri to pick it up. At what point does someone on here start a three wheeler counseling class? My addiction is getting out of control!!! LOL142702142703

You are the owner of one of less than 5,000 machines.
You are preserving history.

Just do the regular stuff.
Check gear oil in the rear axle,
the engine oil filter CAN go in wrong and is instant suicide but other than that
it should last forever.

I know they are the same specs as the 85 and 6 but the 87's just seem
different somehow.

You are helping to make the world a better place.

Garry knows that! He saw mine and had to get one!

She looks better now than she did when you text me. How does she run? I'll come over and check it out.

Well I had to have her because she was an 87. Funny thing is we were playing baseball in Kentucky Feruary of 11 and saw it on craigslist. Was supposed to pick it up last summer and couldn't get back out there. Talked to the guy and sent pics of my collection and he was dead set on me getting it. he was awesome for holding it for over a year for me. It does have some issues, mainly the big weld you can see in pic one. This 87 gets added to my 87 200x, and yes Stud you inspired me to search out an 87. I am going to enjoy riding this for a while and then start cleaning her up a little. Good runner, but I think I have some electrical issue. I litterally have not given her the inspection yet so tomorrow is going to be a good time for it.

how much did you give for it? I gave $700 for her. I feel pretty good about that price. Didn't even try to talk him down cause he was holding it for me.

LOL! I know. I have told my wife this is the last one on the last 4 I have purchased. I just don't want to drive 8 hours one way to get them.

700$ for an 87 is worth it in my opinion. a little steep, but worth it! and We have a class for adiction every other wednesday night at 6pm :D

I need to know where this class is at!:Bounce My problem is I don't buy the nice ones, instead I come home with the red headed step child that needs twice as much as it's worth. I still don't have one finished completely to my liking. Anyway, looks like a great find.

You STOLE it for 700 beans! Nice! Like I said, I feel like it was a good deal. I have alll the stuff to get her back to pretty nice, but she is going to get ridden so a full resto is not in store. I finally got my wife on the 250sx Wednesday, and now she wants to ride every night. LOL! All those years of her harping at me and now I have her hooked. Now I just need to find a decent 200 and 185 and 125 and 110 and 90 and....... wait, this was my last one!!!! :)
