Seems Maier only makes the plastic for an 85. Anywhere I can get one for an 86? Or can the 85 style fit on an 86?

Thanks

Your thread title says 82 250r?

As for your question....OEM on the 86 style and bring your wallet for one in good shape. You can interchange them but the glass/lens is bigger on the 86.

Yes, you can use the '85 shroud on your '86, but you would have to use an '85 light as well....

Try contacting DC Plastics about making the 86 style headlight shell.A couple guys from other sites sent them stuff to have made. One thing is a seatpan for the 81-82 atc 250r.The other was the tank scoops for the 83-84 atc 250r.The tank scoops are being made in the stock oem size and the Maier superscoop size.Someone would have to send them a 86 headlight shell to copy.
