something important to remember - sand robs gobs of power. Paddle up your 200X and it is gonna feel slow. 350Xs do pretty good, but 250Rs rule the sand!

You won't be doing a whole lot with those tires. You need paddles for sand.

Absolutely incorrect. Aired down tires like the ones you have will work fine and you will have plenty of fun. A 200X isnt going to climb the steepest dunes anyway. The paddles you have picked out are heavy and wont be doing your 200X any favors. The less rotational mass, the better, especially on under powered machines. Try and find yourself some quality sand tires from STU or Skat-Trak.

I'm well aware of that ezmoney. I'm just saying that paddles will perform much better, even though its a 200x.

Paddles would be nice to have. You have to consider how much you will use them and what your willing to spend. From my small amount of experience, molded tires like the ones your linked will dig in a lot. Search around and try to pick up a set of used paddles for cheap

But to answer your first question, trikes in the sand are too much fun!

Going to Waynoka, not sure Id even bring paddles. You dont REALLY need them to have fun out there.
