250sx kick start hitting footpeg???

i took my footpegs off so that i could paint them. put them back on today and now the kickstart hits the footpeg?? maybe it always did and i just never noticed it but is this normal? i know the
kickstart is in the right place on the shaft because the lever fit into the slot on the rear fenders when i had them on. any ideas?

You haave nothing to worry about, that is how they always are. My kickstart hits my footpeg also.

ya my right footpeg is dented from kick starting it so many times.....
