I am building an atc 70 5 wheeler, it is also going to be 4 wheel drive. I am trying to figure out how to get pics up from my iPhone, as soon as I get pics figured out I will post them

I've always had that idea floating around in my head... looking forward to seeing what you came up with!

I can't get them on here from my phone or iPad. I had my girl friend try for me to, she thinks they have to be done from a computer. Could I email the pics to someone that can post them for me?

Here you are sir... looks pretty cool!
My idea was to make a 70 "limo" with enough seating for several people.

Okay.... The easy step is over.... Now let's see you put a body!!!
So far I love it. Put me down for chassis #2.
What kind of power is it going to have? Will it turn?

It has an atc110 engine in it so I have hi or low range. I'm planning on putting a small dump bed on it eventually so it's more of a utility machine. I did a foot brake conversion, and both rear axles will drive. Kasey, I thought about that but I want 4 wheel drive so I went solid. I would love to have a motor with reverse, I would make a plow setup for it.

I imagine turning left and right would be an issue with 2 solid axles...

especially with a dump bed loaded up with something heavy to give the back tires more traction.
It looks like a cooler hauler for them late nite trips to the shoe tree!!

a 85-86 TRX 125 would give you reverse, i don't know if those motors bolt in though.

The box on the back can't be very big any way and it's only for hauling some yard debris once in awhile. I'm thinking one of those plastic or steel mesh wagons would be a good donor for the bed to keep it light weight. As for turning I can always adjust air pressure in the rear tires for more down pressure on the front tire. For more front tire pressure I could let some air out of the front set of tires and put more in the rears, I guess I'll have to wait and see. I'm waiting on a collared washer for behind the sprocket hub, an air filter and handle bars.

yeah the 125trx motors would bolt in. exactly the same as the 125m motors everyone swap in to them, just with hi/rev instead of hi/low..

Wrong. The TRX motor is not a laydown motor. It wouldn't even be close to fitting.

the 84-85 trx motors aren't laydowns? i think you might look again there fabio.
funny this looks just like my 125m motor

84-85 is a laydown motor, it is not a "bolt in" but can be made to fit very easily. Watch they have weak transmissions so get one that shifts, I am putting on in a 70 now.

I stand corrected Jon. I've never seen an 84-85 TRX 125. I thought they only made them when they started using the the second-gen ATC 125M standard configuration motor. Sorry!

My Klt 250 is chain driven with a lockable differential on the axle. If this type of axle is used on a dual axle setup, it may be easier to steer when both axles are unlocked. And if you wanted to show off your trike's traction, lock em in!

i think that would work to help turning.
just an idea on the wheels contact with the ground kasey mentioned. what if the rears were lifted up a touch? think of an argo 8x8. then have your air pressure in the front 2 set so the rear 2 are just barely touching like briano means? probibly not the right fix though really, but i imagine it would help against tire wear.
