I just brought these two 85's home. The pictures are how I got them I will clean them up later. One the plastic is original but really faded, It has a pipe along with a westcoast swingarm. The other also has a pipe, keihin carb, and plastic is decent. On one the radiator tab needs fixed but that should not be too bad. The guy owned them since 89 and 91 and were not registered since 93. Both are from California and don't look rusty so far.

Very nice pickup, seems I have lived on the wrong coast my whole life...I think we do have a slight advantage on the west coast I have bought an 86,3 85's, and 84 tecate all in california within a year and all were in really great condition. So now the question is do I sell my 250r or possibly sell one of the tecate's? I always wanted a tecate back when they came out but at 16 I could not afford one.Maybe I am making up for lost time, just thankful my wife just says" why do you buy all those old things you are wasting money I better get my living room finished!"

nice! the rear plastics look real nice on the one in the very last pic, look shiny and un cracked.
The number board things on the front look kinda weird, haha. But cool old aftermarket stuff is pretty awesome.
You think they need little work to run?

Nice score! Number plates are a nice bonus! Looks like the one with the Westcoast is using the brake line as a limiting strap lol!

You think they need little work to run? They both run just need rebuilt rear shocks. The one with original plastics is faded real bad but not one crack anywhere, I do not know if they can be sanded and buffed out I dought it with the green I think once it fades out there is no helping them.
