trile tree barclamps

ive got a new set of renthal 1 1/8'' bars and some really nice Tag over size rubber bar clamps but the studs are 3/8'' shorter than the tri-z clamps. doesnt sound like much but makes a big difference. any suggestions? cut and weld longer studs? sell them? do they make different stud lengts? the ones i have fit honda cr's pretty much all newer makes. thanks johnny

I'm guessing the studs are threaded into the bar clamps.If they are you can take them out and put longer studs in

what i did on my R was get some Tusk 7/8 to 1-1/8 aluminum bar adapters 1/2 to 1 inch rise "i forget which" off the triples but since the twinwalls were shorter than stock it brought the bars back up close to a stock position, not sure if you'd like this for your tri-z but for 30 or 40 bones i thought it was just right for me, id tag some pics but on my phone its a hassle check out my photo album if you'd like and there should be a picture of it all mounted up.
