Folks,

Picked up a 1984 ATC200ES off Craigslist. A previous owner resolved the frozen/fragged front forks by substituting another pair on there. (Not just the forks - the whole assembly, I believe - as evidenced by the lack of headlight bucket and front rack) Have a look at the pictures - any idea what these forks should be on?

There is one clue that they are not a perfect fit - looks like the gas tank had made contact with the forks on one or more occasion.

Let me know what you think. Thank you for your help!

Meanwhile, the back tires are Kenda Scorpions. Nice tires I suppose, but they don't hold the back of the bike far enough off the ground!

Best regards,

Ray

Thanks Daniel... I've seen posts in the past where folks asked if one front end could be swapped for another. This is a good example of successful swap.

That is a 200m front end the 200s front end will work too. Easy way to tell is if it is a 25x12x9 it's the 200m if not it's the 200s.

They look alot like the forks on my 83 200 minus the rubber boots. It has a 25x12-9 front tire as well. And the same headlight mounts, well whats left of those mounts look the same anyway. :wondering
