Big Red ignition switch

Would the following key switch work for my 85 ATC 250es (big red)? I know the key looks different, but the rest looks the same.

I actually just put one of those exact ones on a 85 250sx. You will have to figure out something with the wiring. I had the other end of the oem wire clip and so I just made that work. Otherwise you could cut the old wires and change to a totally different clip. The wires are all the right color and everything. Also it is alot smaller diameter than the old ignition so you have to rig something up to hold it in the hole I used a washer on either side. Once I got it all hooked up and secured in place it works great and the price was definitely reasonable I think the guy will even take offers on them.
