Hey everyone its been a few years since the last time I visited this fine site . I ended up selling the majority of my trikes because my finacee wanted to start riding dirtbikes . I got enough money out of them to buy a 2003 rm125 and a 2001 cr80 both in primo condition . I decided after going to many hare scramble events and having to walk everywhere that a pit bike was in order . Well what better pitbike to cruise around on then a trike ? I found a 1985 KLT110 that had been sitting for 4 years due to a rotted out gas tank and dead beat owners . Purchased it for a whopping $30 and its 100% complete . It looks like someone replaced the rear tires before they quit using it because its got brand spankin new wooly boogers on it :p:p . I get it home clean it up , tested for spark and compression and it has tons of both so I ordered a brand spankin new carb off ebay for another whopping $30 and a 1985 kx 80 gas tank with the cap and petcock for another $18 so Im up to $78 so far invested . Now Im just playing the waiting game on the parts to get here. My idea is to put a rack on it and be able to haul me, my fiancee and my beagle around the races in style and it seems like its going to be a perfect fit . I want to paint the plastics Kawi green and then the wheels and handlebars gold then slap a set of vintage Kawasaki decals on the tank . Does anybody know of anywhere to get kawi green spray paint ?shens

Ok and as for painting the plastics make sure you prep them well and use paint for plastic krylon fusion for example. EDIT the lighter of the greens might be ok http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/
